Meet the Teacher!

My name is Sarah Gordon. I grew up in Columbus, GA where I graduated from Columbus High School. From there, I moved to Tuscaloosa, AL where I graduated from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education (K-6). This is my second year of teaching, and I can't imagine a better place to be than Oliver! I am currently in the process of obtaining my M.Ed at Troy University. I love watching football, traveling, being outdoors, and hanging with my dog, Lulu. My goal as an educator is to instill a lifelong passion of learning in your child by creating a nurturing learning environment where they can thrive. Teaching is truly a passion of mine, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!

Spelling City

Parents,

I am happy to announce that we now have our very own Spelling City website. Each week, I will post our spelling list onto Spelling City. Your child will be able to quiz themselves and play various games and activities with their weekly spelling words. I believe this is an effective and fun way for your child to study his or her spelling words for the week. I have put the link to our Spelling City site at the top of this website (directly underneath "Ms. Gordon's 4th Grade"). As always, let me know if you have any questions!
